Long-Term Renewable Contracts

NSTAR Electric Company and the other investor-owned electric distribution companies in Massachusetts, in consultation with the Mass. Department of Energy Resources, have issued an RFP to solicit proposals from renewable energy developers for the purpose of entering into long-term contracts in accordance with Section 83 of the Green Communities Act (Chapter 169 of the session laws passed by the Legislature in 2008).
