Electric Power Utility Technology Program

Are you interested in continuing your education and working in a challenging field for a great company? Then look no further than the Electric Power Utility Technology Program (EPUT).
This accredited Associate of Science degree program, jointly sponsored by NSTAR, the Utility Workers Union of America, and Bunker Hill Community College includes the following:
- Two years of academic, technical, and onsite training.
- A minimum of 16 weeks of paid cooperative work experience over the two years.
- Potential future employment opportunities may exist as a utility worker for successful graduates who meet all the program requirements.

Individuals who want to learn more about EPUT are welcome to attend one of the information sessions held at Bunker Hill's Charlestown location. Sessions will take place as follows:
- November 15, 2011 6 to 8 p.m., Room E175
- December 14, 2011, 6 to 8 p.m., Room C202
- January 9, 2012, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Room E175
- January 31, 2012, 6 to 8 p.m., Room E175
- February 13, 2012, 6 to 8 p.m., Room E175
How To Apply
We are now accepting applications for the EPUT class beginning
in September 2012. Please complete documents in their entirety
to apply:
- NSTAR EPUT Application
- Bunker Hill Community College Application for Admission
- Computerized Placement Test Pass
Both NSTAR and BHCC applications need to be submitted in person to Bunker Hill Community College at the address listed below. Please make sure to include all required documents in your application for the EPUT program. Please note, you'll need to bring the Computerized Placement Test Pass with you when you take the College Placement Test at Bunker Hill Community College.
